How to Greet New Members in our Wisconsin Welcome Center

We have a "Welcome Center" for new people to introduce themselves to the community here at theBubbler.

The Welcome Center is at:

We encourage existing members to say hello, welcome, and to otherwise offer help, encouragement and/or make some conversation with new members of our community.

Since the Welcome Center is often among the first places a new person posts, I believe it is very important to extend a warm welcome.

You can tell that you've posted in a particular forum when you are logged in and there is a check mark in the column before the date of the last post column:

I'm also going to their Member profile (after Dave's had an opportunity to ban the obvious scammers and spammers and such) and welcoming New Members at their member profile, too....and suggesting they introduce themselves in the Welcome Center.

I've seen you do that and keep meaning to do that more often as well.. will make more of an effort in the future..

Post a bouquet of flowers, or a bottle of booze photo photo as a pseudo gift.

They'll be glad you did and might keep them coming back for more!
