How long will "Hawkins" hang in the chatroom?

I noticed a lone chatter in the chat room. I looked once, but seemed like Hawkins was hiding. I did not see any other chatters in the room.

Anyone wanna guess how long Hawkins will hold the room?
Maybe lay some odds. Any actuarial types out there?

Yeah, I'll lay you some odds, I'm not in the chat room; nor have I been for some time. I decided not to use it anymore, I wonder why that would be???

When I looked, Mark, I could see (Dan) Hawkins listed as one of the Currently Active Chatters, yet he was not not listed amongst the Online Users.

This happens when someone enters the Chat Room but does not click the red sphere in the upper right of the Chat Room to log out when they leave Chat (or theBubbler). No harm, no foul.. simple explanation.

It's a problem with the Chat software, not the Chatter.

In any case, members can spend 24 hours a day in chat if they like.

I've often sat in chat myself in one window waiting for someone to come in to chat, and had a second window open while doing other things. If your volume is not turned up or you're temporarily out of the room, you may not hear someone enter to chat.

I've tried logging out of chat a couple times in the correct manner and it's still showing me as being in chat.

Hi, Dan.. I think Mark was actually commenting on a flaw with the chatroom software. Sometimes users are not logged out correctly.

I don't think his statement was directed at you personally other than mentioning your name as being in chat.

Just looking again and I see, I "am" logged out of chat.. this could also be related to browser cache.

I'll flag this thread for Keith and Private Support to see what, if anything, they can do or suggest.

Exactly correctamoondo, Dave. I meant nothing personal by my comments. I sort of figured that it was some sort of software glitch. I just wanted to start a game.

Nothing personal toward Hawkins, or any other member of the theBubbler.
