I have been part of many forums over the years (some as admin, mod or as a member) & all have had a general ongoing thread where people would just have general banter (if they didn't have one i'd start it & it's always a big hit with forums).
Just a thread for everything from just simply saying good morning to general convo, talk about our day, checking in when there is no topic you want to add to, but want to touch base with others etc...
Is there a thread here for that & i'm just missing it?

Second, we don't have such a thread. I like the idea. I like the Wisconsin and conversation in the title, maybe daily talk, too....
I remember you saying you found theBubbler by googling "Wisconsin Forums" - I'd like the kind of thread you're talking about to bring more people like you here!
How about we ask others to chime in with some thoughts on this - before giving you the honor of starting the thread?
Chica, I reeeeeeeeeeeeally think we could use a thread for everyone to stop by, bunny slippers in tow (<<< pun) if they choose, beverage of choice in hand, and they should just post whatever...
I just like the idea of coming in at anytime & seeing who has checked in or who is currently online and looking to chat maybe, just a spot to let your presence be known or say good morning/night, especially when you dont have a chance to really read & reply, but want to give a shout out. I'm glad you all like the idea.
Some of the threads i have started were called 'Random chat', 'Checking in', 'Fluff & Stuff' (my favorite). Others i have seen are called 'random Thoughts', 'Blah Blah' & so forth.
Any ideas of what you would like to see it be called?
also does this site have the option for admin or mods to pin the thread? so that it's always at the top of whatever section it is placed in? this way it's easily accessible as a general 'fluff chat' type thread. Just an idea

What section would you like to see it placed in? I would think it would be best placed in General WI Convo or the Break Room section, but will let you tell me where it should be placed.

Ok in surfing the forum i found sticky ability, which is what i was asking when i asked if you could 'pin' threads... answered my own question lol Is that an option for a thread of this kind? I know some forums choose to not sticky many threads, i can respect that

Either section would work. I like General WI a bit better because the break room gets a ton of action now. Maybe that's a reason to use that room instead. Your choice.
