Under "Quick links" there is an option for "New posts". Since I'm only managing to get here a couple times a week, there's usually 4 or so pages worth. By the time I read the posts on the first page, the other pages don't work anymore. Is there any way to make them last longer?
Thanks,
Michelle

Just cleaning up the site-related forum and came across this.
What I do is open each of the new thread pages in separate windows or tabs, then I right-click on each to open other new tabs to see the posts, and still preserve the original pages so you can get through them all!
Hope that helps and I'm terribly sorry for the lateness!
Oh, it's not quite been a year, yet, so you're good. If it had been a year, I would have had to complain.
I do open them in new tabs. But I don't visit very often so there tends to be a _lot_ of new ones. Once the tabs start getting full, I start reading. Then they're all gone by the time I go to get more. Or I'll look at some and not have more time until later and then it's too late. I guess I'm just used to the way Drupal does it where you can see unread posts until you actually read them.

I've been watching for another way and I'm sorry to say I haven't found one. I wish I could do this full time, with full time programming, to take care of every big and little thing.
I find the same thing (as we've discussed, Keith).. new posts, in my case, expire too quickly so I go to Today's posts to see. I wish there were an option in our Options to set a cookie to not expire new posts for X days since our last visit. I think the way it is now, if you don't log in over a weekend, you lose out on having posts flagged as new. (I may be incorrect about this)
I'd be happy with just a few hours a day for it. As it is, my site is neglected except for maybe a few scrounged up hours a month. There's soooo much I want to do on it but just no time.

I hear you! I take a few hours most day, usually in lieu of sleep! Wish there were many more hours that could be devoted, and would probably wish for more even if I could devote 20 hours a day!
