Using the "Jump To" feature

When I make a forum selection, using the "Jump To" feature, at the bottom of the forum index page, I'm always redirected to the theBubbler home page. Doesn't matter which forum I choose, it redirects me to the home page.
I wonder how I made this happen... :?

I'll take a look at that. I am going to preliminarily say it's because two things were used together that weren't intended to be -- the old old phpbb that the forum was based on way back when and a script that lets us use search-engine and user-friendly urls on the site (the same thing that lets user profiles have the url member/username.html). That's just an initial diagnosis. No ETA on a fix for it though. We got slammed by a bunch of fraudsters again and I'm concentrating on getting rid of their debris before I do anything else related to this site.

Perhaps that's why Firefox has been blocking pop-ups, where I have never had a pop-up on this site in the past. Good work, crys

You're showing popups on the site? The only popup you should be getting is the one that says you have a new private message. If you're getting them on any pages can you please PM or email the url of that page to me? Thanks

For the record, I have never had a pop up while on this site. I never thought about it before lol but that's great.

Firefox always blocked them. I would just close the advisory banner that appeared, and that would be the end of it.
Perhaps it was the "PM" advisory...I didn't draw the correlation. I'll be more on the alert next time.
BTW, did you find that "spam" posting on the announcement thread? I was unable to lock it, or mark it, so I posted a reply to it, in order to keep track of it.
