OK, this will sound like a silly question to all the 'seasoned' users on here I'm sure..but I'm kinda the newbie here and I would like to know something.
First I was a 'water boy' and now I'm a water cooler repairMAN? Now I'm sure it has something to do with how many posts you leave and of course 'the bubbler' duh...but let's face it.., pk does not stand for a Paul, Philip, or Peter. It stands for Patricia, Patti, or Pat. So is there a reason I am called a 'boy' and now a 'man' ? Also, when does it change to something else?
I'm looking forward to the ranks beyond 1,000! Indeed, I have as many as 1,500 + posts on other forums. It's getting easier to do it here, too, with so many new, amusing, genuine voices to converse with.
No, but really, pk, the reason is that I think the primary staff on the site were all male when the original names were picked (unless there have been other female webmasters on here I don't know about...) and they, understandably, didn't think about it, and I never went back to change the names because they're already established and people get cranky when you mess with their titles.
I do have reworking them so they're a little more gender inclusive on my titanic list of things to do on the site... at least I'm pretty sure it's on there somewhere... 8O

Yeah, that was me. Sorry.
Now get back in the kitchen and off the computer!
