Morgellon Disease

“I often get the feeling something’s biting me but there is nothing there,” said one sufferer of this condition. While another stated, “Doctors act as though I’m making this up,” … “They are guessing without investigating. They refer me to a psychologist or make a psychiatric diagnosis with no solid basis whatsoever.”

Symptoms:
·Involuntary muscle twitches
·Itching
·Sensations of organisms scratching, biting, or crawling on the skin
·Live organisms infecting the human host
produce fibers, or filaments within the tissues
·Sores and slow-healing lesions with thick scarring
·Microscopic examination of these sores reveal the presence of unusual fibers



We fear what we don’t understand and can’t see… The fear of the unknown! The cause of Morgellons Disease is currently a medical mystery. This emerging bug needs to be considered a very infectious disease, which mimics scabies and lice. Many sufferers have given up on the medical field in whole and have turned to any means of alternative medicine, and/or have attempted to self medicate.

I have been employed under the medical field for a few years and have come across a lot of weird conditions but due to confidentially reasons I have always disregarded the illnesses. But then the creepy happens right in my own family. Sometime last year I had an extended family member (from Omro,WI) needing to take a road trip down to Alabama and literally contracted a bug while staying in a motel room.

Over a coarse of a year my family member wasn’t too concerned about their health that is until the condition turned intolerable. They began seeing providers but no one is believing the symptoms and the provide proof to this ailment (bug). So far these doctors have basically wrote them off with other conditions without giving much thought. Before they were naïve and gave a shot to any medical assistance, which was provided. One problem nothing worked, and it did get to the point that several providers were disregarded as being “all in your head”.

Then about a month ago a family emergency brought everyone together and I saw my relation for real. They are covered with oozing soars/lesions that are scarring, we were told to keep our distance. It is utterly disgusting, just being in the same room of them made my skin craw. I felt so bad because this relative is so affectionate and I love ‘em to death.

Anyway the last I knew they were corresponding with an Entomologist (person who studies bugs) at a local university. I really hope they receive closure soon, since this Morgellons Disease is what we believe to be the ailment but until medical field does a little more research and diagnose this condition we all are left in the dark.

Please if you or know of someone who you believe to be suffering from this creepy bug please let me know. In this case I truly feel the best way to get the medical providers to sit up and take notice is to turn them into believers of this unknown condition.

Note to public the only relief this relative is getting from the bugs is by soaking in a salt-bath for a half hour... When they emerge they stated that the water was full of the dead parasites.

The sickly skin disease has actually been around for centuries. In 1935, an English physician wrote a paper about Morgellons including excerpts from medical journals from the 1600's, describing the disease.

Unfortunately, not much was known then about Morgellons -- and not much has been learned in the more than 400 years since.

Use a blow dryer on yourself, and any/all bedding, and furniture. Seems as if the little critters don't like dry heat. The heat kills the bug, the wind blows away the carcass. and the hot wind dries up the egg/zygote.

Folks I believe we have a major situation that is about to blow out of proportion. Why is everyone in denial about this infestation? Its real I have seen it with my own eyes!


UPDATE: My relation took one of these triangles things out of the nostril and put it into a test tube vial then added Iodine to it. The thing shriveled up, well the specimen was needed so they added snow and the thing expanded triple its original size much like a sponge being wet. Yuk! The worst part is one of these creature or parasites way laying on the kitchen floor. My relation used a tweezers to pick up this thing and then put it into warm water and the thing literally grew fibers within minutes as seen on the photographs from the website. Now I don't know what to think other than this creature doesn't need to be on living flesh to still thrive.

I have been researching Morgellons at the request of a client and friend. In searching the Internet, I came across your name a number of times, starting with a chat room on MySA.com.

I am a veterinarian who turned into a medical researcher and consultant after my personal diagnosis of celiac disease. The subsequent removal of all gluten, casein, soy, and CORN from my diet changed my entire life...personally, professionally, medically and even spiritually. I created an ever-expanding Website to chronicle my discoveries through which I do (free) consultations.

So, when my personal veterinary client (who was also an RN) came to me about Morgellons, I got all excited. This is just the kind of thing I like to sink my teeth into, especially when some people want to label it as a "mental disorder"....not!

The fiber thing caught my attention, of course. How could our bodies create a colored fiber? What are the limitations of our DNA, especially when there is a myriad of viruses bombarding it and when we see that a huge percentage of our "genome" is comprised of viral (e.g. retroviral) information. Yes, by some estimates up to 45% of the amino acid sequences in our double-stranded DNA are comprised of both active and inactive viral genetic information. ( And, that speaks directly to what "genetics" really are, doesn't it? It helps us to see why cancers and other conditions...that are KNOWN to be viral...can run in families. Which brings me to the reason for this Email: COULD Morgellons be a product of GMO's (genetically modified organisms) in our food supply? Could your blue, red and white fibers...that most closely resemble cellulose... be a result of plant viruses that are becoming incorporated into the genome of its "victims" which are in turn causing the body to produce these fibers? What colors does corn come in??? Hmmm... Have we created a corn that is unfit for human consumption? Yes...Starlink corn (CRYC). Why did they yank all of those Taco Bell shells (and then proceed to spend millions of dollars removing over 350 corn products off the market) a few years ago. Their reason was "allergic reactions". Well, if you call lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, and other immune-mediated diseases "allergic reactions" then that answer would be accurate.

And why would a corn product elicit such a powerful immune response? Succinctly put, because our body (immune system) doesn't want it in us. Why not? Well, an in-depth study of lectins and viruses yields LOTS of answers to that question. But, whodathunk that it was also warning us of an occult entity lurking in that corn...one that man put in there because they thought it would be a good idea to make the corn more resistant to bugs. I don't know about you, but I don't really want to eat something unnatural that a bug will no longer eat.

So, could this be the first overt evidence that GMO's are doing serious harm? Could these fibers be due to viruses that we introduced into these crops, not knowing what effect they would have once they reached the human genome? Are we really smart enough (or wise enough) to be playing Russian roulette with viruses like this? (If vaccinations are any clue, the answer is obvious). Is our DNA capable of producing a cellulose-like structure? Again, if what WE become from the joining of two microscopic items, an egg and a sperm, is any clue...complete with smooth and striated muscles, nerves, skin, hair, teeth (enamel), bones, fingernails, and much more...I would say it is quite likely. Look what our body does when things go wrong "genetically".

The undersigned citizens of the United States urgently request a U.S.
government oversight hearing to determine why the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is taking so long to investigate the cause of Morgellons Disease. The CDC has admitted that it has been receiving citizen complaints of symptoms of this disease for over a decade. Letters from senators from a number of states to the CDC calling for action on this apparently infectious condition that now affects about 9000 families have resulted in NO apparent investigation thus far by the CDC. Recently, a government oversight hearing was called for to investigate complaints of contaminated pet food and determined that there was system wide failure by the FDA to protect pets from contaminated foods. We believe ill and suffering individuals are at least as important as sick pets. There were a number of pet deaths attributable to tainted pet food. At least 15 persons have died directly or indirectly after being affected by Morgellons disease and thousands more are suffering and
becoming disabled.

Most were misdiagnosed as being delusional by dermatologists, largely
untrained in psychiatric conditions, using badly flawed inaccurate and
unsupportable assertions in the literature. Scientists have identified
some of the physical manifestations of this disease using dermatoscopes, microscopes, DNA analysis and chromatography. The manifestations of this disease are real, multisystemic and progressive, not delusional. However the etiologic agent has so far not matched any known human pathogen. There is no cure. Time is of the essence since one half of the 9000 people identifying themselves as ill with this disease have done so within in the past six months. This may represent an emerging epidemic. In our opinion, the CDC is failing in its obligation of "controlling the introduction and spread of infectious diseases," and we, the taxpayers have a right to know why this is happening and to have the current apparent failure of the CDC addressed immediately.

CDC edges closer to investigation of mysterious “Morgellons disease”

“Doctors are beginning to listen to us and actually try to help us,” she says. “And that’s really because of the CDC.”


IS IT CONTAGIOUS?

A woman who identifies herself only as Leslie answers the phone for the Morgellons Research Foundation in New York. She’s a volunteer. The foundation, she says, has very little funding, but about 10,000 people subscribe to its newsletter. She also says she has the disease. Like Pickens, she believes it’s contagious.

Three years ago—just about the time that Pickens started itching and broke out in lesions—Leslie’s mother returned from her vacation home in Florida convinced that the place had become infested with mites. A neighbor, she told Leslie, had a dog with some kind of skin problem and had brought the dog over. Later, when Leslie’s mother sat in the chair where the woman had sat, she began itching violently, and felt something bite her repeatedly. She returned to New York and came to Leslie’s house having destroyed all of her clothing and bedding, thinking that this would get rid of what she believed to be parasites.

But then Leslie started itching. And then, so did Leslie’s 15 year old daughter. Her daughter, she says, attends an exclusive private school and she absolutely does not want word to get out that she has a parasite that may latch onto other students, so she won’t give her last name. But, to her knowledge, in the three years that Leslie, her mother and her daughter have had the problem, they have never transmitted it to someone else.

Leslie says she’s only suffered from the skin-related symptoms, the itching and lesions. She has not suffered the chronic fatigue, joint and muscle pain and cognitive difficulties, like short-term memory loss, that plague other sufferers. Her dermatologist has been supportive and even arranged for her to go before a panel of doctors at a medical school.

Those doctors issued a diagnosis with which Leslie’s dermatologist disagrees, but it’s one Kelly Pickens and many like her have heard many times before: “They said it was delusional parasitosis,” Leslie says.
