Another survey shows that Wisconsin will soon be in dire need of nurses. And a group is about to find out which areas of the state have the biggest needs – and what types of skills and education will be required. The state’s Workforce Development agency surveyed over 14-thousand licensed practical nurses when they re-applied for their licenses. The biggest percentages of L-P-N’s are 55-to-59 years old. 40-percent plan to retire in the next five years, and over half plan to be gone 10 years from now.
