Vitamin D,Mutil-Vitamin Cetrum with Cardio,CoEnzyme Q10(This stuff takes all the leg pains away that I get with my cholesterol medication. Low dosage asprin with also helps with the major flushing I get with 1500mg of fast acting Niacin. That stuff can make you very uncomfortable, but in my case necessary.
I also take 10 different precription meds per day, there is no need to elaborate on those, it's costly enough now and willl get worse with the latest bill out Madison.

Keith, how do you take 1,000 mg 2x daily of cinnamon? Is there a cinnamon pill? I usually just dump some powdered cinnamon in a cup of tea but would like to be able to do it differently if possible.

I don't take any vitamins, but could easily be persuaded to eat a Cinnabon-a-day - purely for medical purposes, of course!

What is the purpose of cinnamon?
It goes great on toast with some butter and sugar. I love cinnamon and sugar on toast.
I take a multi vitamin in the morning. In the evening I take calcium/magnesium combo and B complex with vitamin C.
Right now I have my husband taking fish oil for the Omega-3 which is good for the brain. Omega-3 can be found in other foods, but fish and flaxseed look like the best sources. Easier to pop a fish oil capsule though.
FYI
I get Multi-Vitamin Centrum with Cardio from Woodman's grocery store, they have a better price than Wally-world.
I once visited a health food store where they touted the benefits of drinking a 3 oz shot of juiced wheat daily. It looked vial so I told them no thank you , I can get all the wheat I need out of my beer.

Yep, a pill. Makes the rest of it go down.

Supposed to help you metabolize sugar well. There's a lot of diabetes in my family.

Same fish oil here. Keep away alzheimers. (I already have some-timers).

Doing a quick search I see references to this as far back as 2005.. the vitamin industry brings in billions of dollars a year.. I don't think we have to worry about it being outlawed or regulated out of existence. Lobbyists will see to that..

Cinnamon helps lower LDL cholesterol. 1/2 tesp. daily does the trick in most cases. If you are Type 2 diabetic, studies suggest cinnamon helps regulate blood sugar levels.
Cinnamon is also a helpful supplement in the battle against yeast infections.
A study by the USDA has concluded that cinnamon reduced the proliferation of leukemia and lymphoma cancer cells.
Cinnamon has an anti-clotting effect on blood. So, if you are at risk of heart attack or stroke, cinnamon is the stuff for you. You might be able to drop the Plavix or Coumadin prescription. Check with your doctor on this before going with using cinnamon as a blood thinner. Bear in mind, most doctors are in the pocket of drug companies.
In a study at Copenhagen University, patients given half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder combined with one tablespoon of honey every morning before breakfast had significant relief in arthritis pain after one week and could walk without pain within one month.
When added to food, it inhibits bacterial growth and food spoilage, making it a natural food preservative.
One study found that smelling cinnamon boosts cognitive function and memory.
Researchers at Kansas State University found that cinnamon fights the E. coli bacteria in unpasteurized juices.
It is a great source of manganese, fiber, iron, and calcium.
Cinnamon is some an amazing spice. I use it on a daily basis. It is a one of the main ingredients in my oatmeal gravy.

While reading this article, I believe this subject would make for a good topic thread!
Interesting video. Looks like an over blown WalMart Convention. WalMart has loads of associates and managers at their conventions
So, what's the deal? Is this some sort of pyramid marketing deal, where you move up the pyramid as your purchases increase, and you attain discounts on your purchases? The video didn't say much about the products...only that there alot of them.
What I took from the presentation a marketing tool similar to the Amazon link on the theBubbler, where the website that hosts the link receives a cut of the purchases made by the user of the link.
How far off am I?
I'd like to have more information on the product, although the marketing tool is intriguing. Alot like the Herbal Life folks use.
Market America bought Shop.com, from what I understand, the company that built the Amazon.com website.
Yes, we get something like 1/2 of 1% of purchases. The healthcare products seem to be great. I have a bachelors degree RN client who swears by them, and listened to an MD go in depth on the advantages vs. high-cost prescription stuff last weekend.
There's a 'cash-back' that's often available too. And the store is linked to 200 other stores (small time outfits like Sears, Target, etc.). Once someone becomes a "Preferred Customer" (makes a purchase), the 1/2 % is there for life.
Not far off, Mark. I'm intrigued. Put that website up a week or two ago and haven't even search-engine-optimized or search-engine-registered it yet and already picked up a $100 order for some great Aloe-based products from a brand-new 'Preferred Customer.' I see a great window of opportunity on the web for this.
It is MLM and the people I know who are into it are hard-working, salt-of-the-earth type business owners who use the products. I've been very impressed so far.

I figure I'd throw money at taking care of my health while I have it, and spending money on vitamins and supplements, rather than ruining my health and spending the last few moments of my life in poor health, and throwing my money at "Big Pharma", and spending my 'end time' doped up on drugs that probably are the cause of my health problems.
I've been studying nutrition and diet for some time now. I'm going for a dietition degree. I found out that anyone could call themselves a 'nutritionist', but you need the parchment to claim to be a dietitian.
