Doctors! How can you get the lies your doctor wrote in your medical files erased?Why are they allowed to do this w/ out
[My doctor whoI loved and trusted for over 20years along as my daughters doctor as well from birth,lied at my expence to save himself.
Long story short and anyone who may be interested in my story I will e-mail it toyou,let me know...Haveing a severe back issue w/no surgery as an option my options were of shots in my back ,and strong medications such as oxycodone 30mg.6-8 times per day for 3 years.I was also treated w/ other pain killers for over 5 yrs and never abused nor became addicted however , my luck changed about 1 and half yrs.ago.For some reason I had never beeneffected fromany drugs as far as addictions , i don't even drink for petes sake(w/ an drink maybe 1 time in 6-12 months)So addiction was not an issue in my life accept for ciggarettes. after about a little over 2yrs.my pain increased so did my medication of oxycodone, I then and only the started to abuse them,in which I called my doctor intears many times telling him I felt I was addicted to them,he would give me a speech then write yet another script and send me on my way, not ever suggesting any type of rehab or help. I eventually went into rehabon my own , went through the program and continued my therapy.Staying clean for over a year now I can see where things went wrong almost to the date.After my rehab I recieved a letter i themail from mydoctor of over 20years dumping me as a patient giving me many excuses to why he felt he couldnolonger treat me.He was more than a doctor to me and my daughter,after all he was the doctor and doctor knows best so I believed.When I read that letter I could not believe how fakehe had become w/ his big professional words that to a stranger would seem ever so sweet, however as i read on I could not believe the lies this man had written and now these false statements were to follow me for the rest of my life.I even wrote the board of medicine a 20 page letter w/ dates and quotes and witnesses,and I till this day am to recieve any thing.
I knew I was just a "little person"in the system making a complaint to the average person is no big deal however when I have to travel over 1 hour monthlyto be medically treated because of his false staements in my med.records it becomes a big deal.
The bottom line here is that I take full responsibility for my part in my addiction, however I crossed the line yet I was walked to that line by my doctor..I could not have taken over 200 oxycodone 30mg. per month by myself, it took my doctor to write out all the prescriptions.So how imperfact human being who takes an oath when becomeing a doctor write anything he wants at the expense of ruining ones life.? Just to cover his own a--?Now what do I do? He's looked at as a hero because of his fake ,letter full of lies that is in my records for life, while I get dirty looks and nasty comments from doctors as they see me as nothing but a drug .addict and not get medically treated right.Can some one give me any idea'
s on how to get this junk out of my records? This has been a nightmare, I was even told byone respectable intitution to"crawl on my hands and knees" as I could not walk w/ out pain medications from the 3 missing discsin my back made it inpossable to walk so I crawled...Thats only one thing that has happened because of his false statements.I am open to all idea's..I am at a dead end road...
