I'm just coming off the tail end of an ocular migraine or Scintillating Scotoma..
During an ocular migraine, you may see:
- Flashes of light
- Zigzagging patterns
- Blind spots
- Shimmering spots or stars
There's no headache associated with an ocular migraine and they typically last 30 minutes or so.
It's mainly annoying because it obscures your vision to the point of not being able to read (for example). I've had these on occasion, separated by months and only recently learned what they were.
Anyone else have migraines of any sort?
