Donate your left over medications to the Starfish Project. This organization will send them to clinics in Nigeria that serves those in need. Only certain medicines are accepted so you need to go to the website to see if your unused leftover meds are on the list of the ones that they accept.

what an awesome idea! Thanks for this post PK... i need all the meds i can get (I dont have meds i dont need cuz they are expensive), but if i had left overs i'd surely consider this the best way to rid myself of them!

I'm glad to see they have a list as I'm sure there must be safety and legal issues involved.

I know the orphanage in Haiti my sister in law is involved with is always needing even the basic medications like aspirin, etc.
