Just reading an article in the Frbruary 2009 issue of Parents magazine on the 10 Best Children's Hospitals nationwide and the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee was third overall for best care and quality of service.. congrats!
It also placed second for quality of Emergency Care and fifth for Neonatal Care.. way to go!

Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee scored higher than any other hospital in the staffing sections. They require every intensive care nurse to pass special testing in advanced life support. Newly hired doctors must get their board certification in prdiatrics or a pediatrics specialty (which requires additional training).Triage nurses must have first worked in the emergency department two years. Many other hospitals only require 6 months experience.
In addition, the hospital is respected for their pediatric-diabetes expertise.
