Re: Michael Crichton on the Unproven Dangers of Secondhand Smoke
I avoid places that have smoke filled rooms. Cant stand the odor. Breating is hard and I leave smelling real bad.

Re: Michael Crichton on the Unproven Dangers of Secondhand Smoke
My neighbor is a heavy smoker.. I had to tell him I won't come visit because of the smoke and smell. Now when he invites me over, he always adds "I won't smoke"!
There's really no getting rid of the smoke smell though and his white textured apartment walls have yellowed from the smoke.
I used to live with smokers and it got so I didn't even notice though when I'd visit my brother, he'd make me throw my jacket in the washer while I was there!

Re: Michael Crichton on the Unproven Dangers of Secondhand Smoke
I was given a couch a few weeks ago and it had to sit outside for a few days I sprayed it daily with febreeze....
Thought the smell was gone and brought it inside. But guess what. The moment I sat on the couch I could still smell smoke.

Re: Michael Crichton on the Unproven Dangers of Secondhand Smoke
I hate the smell of smoke and my clothes and hair stinking. I hate my eyes burning and my throat getting all phlegmy. This is even after I've been exposed to smoke an hour later.
My husband's aunt died from emphysema. She never smoked a day in her life, but she worked in an office filled with smokers.
