The reason you see so many ads for Mesothelioma on TV and the web is because Mesothelioma is a rare cancer caused by Asbestos Exposure - and victims may be entitled to collect millions of dollars from companies that have set aside billions to pay victims.

Just googled "Mesothelioma Wisconsin" and the Wisconsin results on the first page were ALL law firms. You'd think that a support group for Mesothelioma in Wisconsin or a Wisconsin chapter of the American Cancer Society or something like that would be a top result.

Great post as always, Keith.. I recall seeing television commercials for lawyers specializing in these types of cases. I can also recall when asbestos was a common form of insulation.

More great info.. I actualy recall working around asbestos insulated heating pipes for years in a factory setting.. thinking back, no one anticipated the dangers of asbestos exposure and now, everyone is paying for it in one way or another. Not just law suits but also asbestos removal and the like.

Scary part: Most people don’t know they have mesothelioma until as much as 20-30 years after they are first exposed to asbestos.

Weird that managers and administrators account for 7.6% of mesothelioma realted deaths (by occupation). More than pipefitters or plumbers..
