Re: E. coli warning Prompts Massive Frozen Pizza Recall

My kids actually like these pizzas alot. I'm sure we have some in the freezer right now. I just don't understand what is going on that our food supply is with E. coli etc. Does anyone have any information they can share as to what is going on?

It just seems nothing is safe to eat anyomre. On top of this our toys aren't even safe anymore for our kids.

The illnesses occurred between July 20 and Oct. 10, according to the FSIS Thursday.

Re: E. coli warning Prompts Massive Frozen Pizza Recall

It was a voluntary recall and from what the recording at the company says, they have not found any e.coli at the plant. (yet)

I guess 9 of the 21 reported cases had eaten the pizzas prior to becoming ill.
I am glad to hear General Mills is taking a proactive approach even though it may not be valid claims.

It is only affecting a few kinds with Pepperoni. The website gives the kinds.
They ask you destroy any product that you have that is on the list. Cut the UPC off first. They are giving product coupons for any valid upcs sent in.

I find it interesting that the illness reported occurred between JULY 20-OCT 10, yet we are in November and this is the first I saw anything about it?
