WARNING: RISK OF BOTULISM POISONING---Chili Products sold Nationally.

Affected units were sold nationally and consumers in all parts of the country should check the label and 'best buy' date on the bottom of the cans.

Seems as if nothing is safe. It's one thing after another. I still can't look at a Jar of JIF Peanut Butter after the big problems it had.

Have you ever noticed when there is a FOOD WARNING of some kind and it tells you to not eat certain items that within a few days they come up with a whole list of more foods?

You run around checking the first items and think you are safe and then you find out more. I think the safe thing from now on if a company has a bad food warning on them is to simply not eat anything you know that is from that certain company for at least a week to see if any further items are listed.

It's funny I certainly can't remember all these warnings when I was a kid. Is this progress?

I am not sure if they have better testing or are more aware of what should be tested.
We are also living in times where cutting corners is another way of being cost efficient. Is corporate greed dictating the quality of our food supply ? :?
