Using this forum
Welcome to theBubbler.com Genealogy forums. The genealogy was created as a collection point for all things genealogy related. Genealogy is the study or investigation of ancestry and family histories.
If you are looking for information on a particular name, please be sure to visit the Lost Families (Surname Registry) Section. There are instructions at the top of the forum for making entries.
So often when people are looking into their family history, they go to the genealogy sites like Rootsweb and Ancestry.com looking for information on this family or the next. The problem with that is, often times it is just a duplication of information that is found. My goal with this genre is to gain information from folks that didn't even know they had information to give.
Mr. Fischermann from northern Wisconsin comes across theBubbler and does a search for his last name. Fischermann. All of a sudden he finds a whole thread of information relating to his family. He realizes that the person being talked about is his great uncle who lived down the street for the last 25 years.
If you have any questions at all of where to post the information you have, please let me know.

Re: Using this forum
I surfed into this website off of one of the adSense ads in the on the daily ring thread. I thought it might be a good resource for genealogical sorts.
