The Brown County Board has approved an ordinance that would revoke county licenses from businesses which knowingly hire illegal immigrants.

The Brown County Board passed a controversial immigration ordinance Wednesday night. The council voted 21-4 in favor of an ordinance giving the county authority to revoke licenses of Brown County businesses that hire illegal immigrants.
Counties only have authority that is given to them by the state Legislature. Therefore, even if county leaders adopt the ordinance Wednesday night, they wouldn't have the power to enforce it.

Ooooh, a fence! I can't even keep the rabbits out of my yard with a fence. For over a billion dollars, that sucker should be 6 foot thick brick and mortar with manned gun towers every half-mile!

GREEN BAY -- Illegal immigration has been a hot issue in Northeast Wisconsin. Now Brown County Supervisor Pat Evans says illegal immigrants are getting welfare benefits and he says county officials are not doing anything about it.

I used to work at Krispy Kreme, and a lot of the production employees were illegal. To this day they still are. Even with the company changing owners, nothing has changed. Granted that they are all really nice people, it is not right. The one guy has changed his name so many times just not to get caught. The company is totally clueless to what is going on because the managers there do not want to lose these people because they don't want to have to put in the time to train new employees.
Wow, thats all the illegals there, sweet!! OK, here in Colorado, Mexico, we have a severe problem. Especially 30 miles from here in Denver. In Denver Metro, there are approx. 1.4 million people all together. The Denver public schools, according to a recent (2006) survey, are 56% Hispanic. Who is the minority here?? Of those students, about 30% don't know any English when they start school. It is way out of control here, and I really don't know why they picked Colorado. Its a good reason for me to leave though. I remember May 1, 2006 when illegals marched in Denver, carrying Mexican flags, demanding citizenship. Local businesses all around shut down for this here, why? I took note of those that shut down, and will not go to them to this day. That leads me into my next point, flying the Mexican flag. I understand being proud of your heritage, but why disgrace the current country your living in (legal or not). If Mexico is so great, then why are they here? I am not racist at all, but living out here where it is a tremendous problem, you see things this way. Now you see why I want to move back to the Midwest. I know that I can send a child to school there, and they will actually learn something, besides how to speak Spanish. I guess the saying is true, you can take the boy out of the Midwest, but you can't take the Midwest out of the boy!! Man, I want to move back!
What bugs me is that it seems there should be no question on whether to act and deport known illegals. "ILLEGAL" is the keyword here... if you want to immigrate, please do so legally and with the intention of being a member of the community you settle in. I don't mind having you for a neighbor and friend if you're willing to do your part as well.
Most of us are the products of immigrants to the US, but it's how it's done that makes it or breaks it for me. Giving out welfare, MA, soc sec etc to anyone who hasn't qualified is self destructive to the US economy, and citizenship in general; so NO we shouldn't be handing out the goods to illegals. At some point common sense has to prevail or we're all going down.
Three doctors have me listed as 100% disabled, due to injury and surgery. So the county is helping me out, since I have a 9-year old son. They placed me on food stamp program, and medical. Everytime i need to contact these people, there is a prompt telling me "To have these messages in english, press 1, to have these played in spanish, press 2. Why are they played in spanish? Why are they getting benefits? How in the world are illegal aliens receiving social security benefits?
Llamo la migra. I never minded the legal ones working along side of me but the ones who constantly are changing the names and or SS is really out of hand. FOLKS NEVER LEAVE YOUR PURSE WALLET WHATEVER IN A UNSECURE LOCATION. I have learned they are very slick. Granted I have become friends with several Illegal who the only flaw they hold is there status, also these are the ones who are trying very hard to gain citizenship. The SOB who are arrogant, lazy and still Illegal yep I hold nothing against notifying the authorities.

The most disturbing thing I've seen was Mexican Flags taped on the HOOD of the vehicle on our July 4th. I smiled when I saw a patrol officer begin to admin Tickets to the Mexican cars who were disgracing our country. My legal b/f was mortified that his fellow peoples were doing such a Nationist extreme on our countries Independence.

The government wants us to cut the amount of gasoline that we use.....
The best way to stop using so much gasoline is to deport 15 million illegal immigrants!
That would be 15 million less people using our gasoline. The price of gas would come down....
Next, --bring our troops home from Iraq to guard our Borders....
When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq ...
Tell him if he wants to come to America then he must serve a tour in the military....
Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it.....
After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country....
He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot..... .
This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves.. ....
If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo....

Good for the police. I mean, July 4th is about American independence. You don't see us flying the flags of our ancestors on July 4th.
