Danica is on Letterman right now.
3.20.07 She has an appearance scheduled for The Today Show, MTV, and ESPN Zone on the 21st. She's promoting the opening race in Homestead.

Danica Patrick, a Beloit native, is now the first woman in the history of open wheel auto racing to win an Indy Car Race. History was made in Motegi, Japan on Sunday, April 21, 2008. She defeated the two-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves by nearly six seconds in the Indy Japan 300.

That woman has some lovely hair.

Just a heads up on your girl "Danica" yes she is from beloit but she doesnt claim to be. She says she's from illinios because she doesnt like this state ...i think her exact words were "nobody really wants to be i cheesehead anyways...i cant help it i was just born here". If you look at her driver cards they all say illinios she wants no part of this state.She also say's she doesnt like the fans here.You still feel like being in her corner?

I normally would not do this, but I have to. I met her 2 years ago, and I stood in front of her trailer for a good hour to an hour an a half, she dodged every fan that stood waiting for an autograph. Then after being at the track for several hours, everything was closed and she was standing with Michael Andretti, Tomas Scheckter, and a few others in a group. I walked up to her and finally asked for that long awaited autograph, and the words that came out of her mouth were, "Can't you people just leave me alone and get away from me." Some personality she has. I've been to NASCAR series, and those drivers in the pits are so easy to get autographs from and are so friendly. Isn't that part of the job, to be friendly to the people that support you and buy your apparel, die-casts, etc.?

It looks like she's straining to smile and doesn't have a natural smile to show us. I'm not going to judge her though. Athletes (and drivers, I guess, they certainly aren't 'athletes') aren't paid for their looks, at least not on the field.

This is the girl that's always all over in advertisements for GoDaddy when I log in to check on my hosting..... always seemed rather obnoxious and a little offensive to have her all over a site selling domain names and hosting (in my opinion)

but then again, this is coming from the owner of a site selling some relatively offensive t-shirts, also, so I guess the casting stones from glass houses thing applies....
