I knew there was a halfway house about a half mile from my apartment or so. What I didn't realize is that there's one of these people living less than a block from me. I'm across the street from a fairly well-used park, too and we've got tons of kids on our block.

Glad to help Crys. I was shocked also when i did the searches. These days its hard to trust anyone...too many freaks out there. Makes you think twice when you send kids to parks and such alone.

Stranger Incidents Prompt Warning from Police

:? Police are reminding parents to talk with their children about strangers after two recent suspicious incidents in Green Bay.

The first incident happened Tuesday afternoon when a man wearing a black jacket and a black ski mask tried to get a five-year-old girl to go with him near Eastman Park, which is on Green Bay's northeast side. He told the girl his puppy was trapped and he needed her help.

MADISON, Wis. Wisconsin's worst sex offenders might become easier to spot.

A Republican lawmaker in Madison introduced a bill today that would force child molesters and sexually violent offenders to place bright green license plates on their vehicles.

I just read an article about this. The license plates would be a bright green to really stand out for people to see and be able to watch where the car is traveling.

I think this is a great idea. I think if you do this crime than you need to stand out where everyone will always know who you are.

We have to protect our children.
