Feb 16 2006 Snowstorm

We got 4 or 5 inches last night. Had driving snow and THUNDER the last couple of hours today.

Saw some Wisconsin blogs today and looks like Madison is closed.

My Dad does some plowing in Black River Falls. No doubt he's keeping busy with expected 12-14".

What's your storm story?

I had a flat tire when I went to leave this morning to snowblow my wifes work.
Just another day in Wisconsin.

Ya had to mention this didnt ya buddy?
I can make my story really short...over 14 inches...i snowblowed real well...go to bed...city plows come by....NOW I GOT 4 1/2 FEET AT THE END OF MY DRIVEWAY!!! Gonna be a real task getting that done with my lil toro...reminds me of the lil engine that could....well i better get out there with my busted up back and git er done!

Wow - and all I had happen was my son starting my car and locking the keys in it while it was running.

at least your car was warmed up when ya got into it...lol

you can laugh at my reply Keith...but trust me, i had a little different response when i was throwing the snow...next time im going to load my van and bring it down by you and dump it in your driveway...lol

we got a few inches here....but now is COOOOOLD even in the apartment here..am sitting covered in blankets....

No kidding! Brrrrrrrr!

High of 3 degrees today, unless you count the wind chill.

I'm sitting here fully dressed with insulated slippers and a shirt-jacket over my shirt and I'm about to grab a blanket too.
