Would you believe with the weather warnings saying that the N/E portion of Wisconsin (which by the way is where I live!) will be hit the hardest calling for a ton of snow and blowing wind.....and our
SCHOOLS STAYED OPENED TODAY!!!
What is with this school sysytem we have when they close because they 'think' it may snow a little or it may be cold and then when we know for positive that we are going to get the worse snow so far this winter and they won't close the schools??
Of course I'm the type of Mom that most kids hate lol... if there is school, my kids will be there. So...I got up early and started on the driveway, and between my oldest daughter (she lives 3 blocks away and has a 12 year old son the same age as my younest son), we managed to get them to school and came back and shoveled and worked on driveways this morning.
I'm sure we will be back out there shoveling the driveways again later just to get back out!!
I could kick the people that decided to keep school open today! If it wasn't for school being open I could stay inside and say the heck with my driveway!
