Alas, snow,snow...beautiful snow

Awoke this morning to another 6 inches, still snowing too. Wish I had a job like the weatherman. Be right only half the time and get paid for it. We were only spose to get 3-5, total.
I have been in absolute hell the last 4 days, the pending weather change had my body as painful as it has ever been. I couldn't move, I couldn't sleep, I just hurt. By noon I was taking my daily allotment of pain meds, and it still didn't help.
Does weather changes do the same to anyone else out there? Is it all weather changes or just specific ones? before a rain, yes...during and after, no. Before a snow, yes, during and after..no. So it isn't the humidity that is causing it. I'm not big on barometric pressure, guess I'll have to check that.
I know my cat loves snow...she must, shes been begging to go flying in it, all morning. Rule of thumb, when you are trapped indoors because of the weather, your cat will go in heat and drive you nuts. The wife, that chicken, drove to work this morning. I think it was just to stick me with the cat. She hates driving in the snow, advoids it like the plague.

Well I don't want to get off on a rant (believe me I have plenty of them left in me)
Later
Rex

It seems like winters have been harder to get used to because the weather is so inconsistent. One day it's in the 50's with sunshine, the next day it's blistering cold with wind and snow. You never know how heavy a jacket to keep on hand!

I've noticed that the warmer weather has aggrivated my allergies more. It used to be that everything died in the winter, keeping my allergies at bay. Now I get sniffly as soon as it warms up. I wonder if it's mold that isn't dying.

I'd love the weather to be consistent... consistently warm, preferred!

i live on a high ridge so i never have to worrie about wet snow. its allways cold, only time its ever wet is one the cement where i have salted. im just sick of this bone chilling cold. i get my but up early the other day (had to go off the 3rd shift scedual) to go to jury duty, its march 2 and its -4 outside man does that suck. i will be so glad when i can walk outside and puff a smoke without freezing my fingers off. makes me wish my garge was heated. i cant work in the cold.

I heard today it's suppose to be in the lower 40's....so all of yesterdays snow should melt away. We got under 2" ~ I only know this because I did not need to be plowed out....

Travel was bad though as the snow hit

11/24/08 - The hazardous conditions caused a number of accidents late last night and early this morning, including two on Highway 151. The Sheriff’s Department reports a 17-year-old girl lost control of her vehicle and struck a guardrail on 151 near Iron Road in Beaver Dam. About 3-hours later a 53-year-old man lost control of the semi he was driving on 151 near the County A off-ramp and hit the guardrail as well. The man was cited for too fast for conditions. There was also a one-vehicle rollover in the Town of Fox Lake on Mill Street. The 19-year-old man was also cited for too fast for conditions.

Yay! You said "to be"! Do you know in some parts of the country they don't say "to be"? They'd say "The car needs fixed" or "The dog needs walked".. drives me crazy to hear someone say that!

Snow? I love snow!
