Little-known Patron Leaves $1.1 Million to Oshkosh Library

Christmas comes early at the Oshkosh Public Library after a late donor provided an unexpected gift.
The $1.1 million is one of the largest monetary contributions ever for the library, from a donor only a few people knew.

I totally love reading stories such as this. Makes you realize that there are still wonderful people out there.

I know if I had this kind of money I would leave a portion to a good cause in our city too.

Good to hear because often libraries are last on the list for sizable donations.. you can't eat a book but a book can teach you how to eat. Libraries are important in their own right..
