Wisconsin state parks to offer free hikes on New Year's Day
Outdoor lovers can explore state parks for free on New Year's Day.
Six state parks, one state recreation area and one state forest will offer guided hikes on Jan. 1 as part of America's State Parks First Day Hikes, a national initiative that offers people a chance to start the new year by connecting with the outdoors through hikes.

I love exploring parks with my camera and winter is a great time if it's not bitter cold out. A guided hike would be great as some parks are quite large and it's easy to get the feeling of being lost. . .
