When state Rep. Scott Krug discovered it is legal in Wisconsin for adults to purchase some tobacco products with the intention of giving them to children, he was shocked.

I had no idea that it was not against the law to buy tobacco for underage kids. That is crazy.

BUT, despite the law.. kids will still find a way to get cigarettes, alcohol, or whatever..

Sadly this is true but I am not one that believes that a parent or any adult should help the child develop a bad habit. Adults should be more responsible and try to teach the child how wrong it is.

And before I get jumped on for that statement I do however realize that so many adults are worse than the kids out there. So in that case there should be a law telling them not to give smokes to a kid since so many think it's ok.

When I lived in NY, kids would get the neighborhood bums to buy them cigarettes and alcohol..
