"Cookies for Gus" Fundraiser -Help this service dog
When we stopped into Market Street Diner, Sun Prairie, we noticed the Cookies For Gus signs. I asked who Gus, a German shepherd, belonged to. Gus belongs to one of the customers who is blind and deaf. Gus is a service dog and getting chemotherapy treatment. The restaurants decided to help with the high cost of treatment.
You can buy Gus cookies or drop a donation in the money jar. Both Market Street Diner in Sun Prairie and Monty's Blue Plate in Madison are selling the cookies. I'm not sure if any of their other restaurants are selling cookies for the cause, but they do own other restaurants in the Madison area. I couldn't find a link to info on Gus either.
I'm not sure if this is the best place for this topic, but feel free to move it. I just wanted to get the word out.
Oh, and let's not forget the fantastic pies at Market Street. Yum!
