Dave, I thought you meant me at first when I started to read this! LOL Then I realized you were talking about your ex-girlfriend since I don't have a dog nor a daughter.

So far we don't have any plans for this weekend other than a couple of graduation parties and I'm not sure if we will even go to those. I was thinking about having a cookout with my family but that would be silly since we are having a family reunion in just a few weeks anyhow.

I'm sure a few adventures will be had by us. I know Bratfest and Chocolate fest are going on. My too favorite things include food and music...oh, and beer.

LOL! That's funny!

She's about 5 hours away in Nebraska.. and unless you have a car, there's no way out of my town and no way into hers, lol.. no trains or bus. She'll be down to visit eventually.. I think she still expects me to get back with Misty and is skittish about making any "investment" til things shake out to her satisfaction..

Wow, I can't imagine living somewhere that totally depends on a car to get somewhere. We are totally blessed for all the options we have around here. Thank goodness for city living.

PK, there aren't any buses or trains out of town here where I live either. We don't even have city buses anymore, but that won't get you very far anyway. I think the nearest train station is Milwaukee. If you have a car, that's all you need to get where you need to go.
Re: Wisconsin: How Will You Observe Memorial Day 2010?
Yup, even the cabs stop running at 4:30pm.. no bus either. There used to be a Trailways but it closed shortly after I moved to town.
