Have you ever seen a pumpkin weighing in at 1,569.5 pounds?

If you drive along highway 41 in Suamico, you may see the Pumpkin Place. But chances are, you have never seen a pumpkin as big as the one currently on display there.

Not sure where this is located, (I'll have to check the map) but it sure would be interesting to not only see this pumpkin but other veggies this man has grown this summer that grew huge, (read story). He says it is all in the seeds, wonder if he would be interesting in selling a few.

I remember back when the kids were much younger we planted pumpkins in the back garden. Didn't realize how much room they needed as they sprawled all over. They even went through the chain link fence we had at the time and we ended up with some in the neighbors yard.

Lots of fun if you have the room to grow them.

These were just regular size pumpkins, I can't imagine growing a pumpkin over 1,000 pounds! lol Now that is alot of pies.
