FYI:

A new 75-cent monthly fee for all cell phones, landlines or other devices capable of calling 911 starts on Tuesday in Wisconsin.

That's just great. We have seven phones between the business, home and the cells.

We have 4 between the house phone and 3 cells.

I certainly don't want to pay anymore taxes but at least it is going for "Police and Fire Protection Fee.". I'm sure I could think of worse things it could be going to.

ouch... doesn't seem like much when you figure it is under $6/mo, but these days a buck is a buck!

I only have my cell & my son switched companies so no second line.
My co-worker called his cell company to find out if it was per bill or per line (he has a family plan of 6 phones), they will be charging him 75 cents for each line.

We have a family plan with 4 phones. We got a cell for my mom since she lives by herself and we worry about her all the time. She doesn't drive so she is usually home most of the time but when she decides to walk to the gas station or store and one of my siblings can't reach her, they start calling everyone to see if anyone knows where she is and then we all panic. So, I got her a phone and she has orders to take it with her whenever she leaves her house now.
