Highground Hero's Tribute Ride

The Highground Bicycle Tour celebrates 25 years in 2009.

In honor of this major milestone, Tom Kingsbury has volunteered to re-create the ride that Tom Miller made back in 1985. That first ride covered 1,244 miles - one mile for each person from Wisconsin that died in Vietnam. In that same tradition, the 25th Annual Memorial Ride will cover 1,244 miles plus 1 mile for each person that has died in action from Wisconsin since Vietnam.

Wow!! I wish I had the time and the ability!! I might have enough to ride 1 foot for every fallen soldier from Wisconsin.
