Appleton,WI to Eagle,WI

I used 4 different map sites to plan my drive from Appleton,WI to Eagle,WI.
Here are the results.
I will post my actual time/distance when I return home.

Is Yahoo the most accurate? Why do they have 2 decimals in the distance?

I used Google one time for trip in the UP and ended up on H58, a washboard unimproved roadway (trail) that took us 2 1/2 hours to travel 20 miles!!!!!!! and mucho buckeroos $$$$$$$$ to re-align the suspension/sterring in the van.

131 mi – about 2 hours 27 mins

Map Quest
Time: 2 hours 21 minutes Estimated Distance: 116.62 miles

MSN
130.3 mi, 2 hr 5 min

Actual distance was 113 miles and drive time was 2hrs and 5 minutes.

My true destination was Ottwa Lake State Park which is a little over 4 miles north of Eagle,I just off WI Hwy 67.
so mapquest was close for distance and MSN was close for time.

Map sites: I guess they are just as good as they can be and hope that the driver can figure out the rest. lol

I remember one time we went on vacation and was following map quest. It sent us in the wrong direction at one point and we drove almost 50 miles before we caught it and had to turn and drive back the almost 50 miles. So in all that was wasted time, and gas.

We have a navigon now that works pretty good. But at times that is even incorrect. Guess everyone could go back to the olden way and drag out the map or stop at gas stations for directions when lost. lol

Thanks for asking pk {:^)

We do enjoy Ottawa Satae Park and the surrounding Area. It was a mini-vacation friday saturday sunday nights and returned on Monday.
This park is more like a prairie setting than a forest and gives you a differnt feel for camping and star gazing.

One dissapointment during our stay the restrooms were NOT cleaned or resupplied !!!!!

WE mentioned this to the part Host and at the welcome station several times during our stay.
