I was reading blogs of some Members of Wisconsin Business Owners (http://WisOwners.com/rsvp) and learned from the president of HomeOwners Concept that the $8,000 tax credit for home buyers can be used as down payment!

This could be especially great for young people who could find themselves paying less to own a home than they do for rent.

Further, when inflation kicks in, as it is likely to in the not-too-distant, in my humble opinion, they'll have an appreciating asset.
