Back in December we were playing find the mailbox in the snowbank in our neighborhood. I have pictures. There was one mailbox that made me laugh. The snow was about 3 feet higher than his mailbox. The only part of his mailbox you could see was the front opening, the rest was buried in the snowbank. I have a picture of it.
Looks like we are following last years lead this week in WI... we are expecting a high of 0 today (currently -1) and a HIGH of -4 on Thursday followed by 4 days of snow... crazy!!
Oh great, just in time for the weekend. I hope that I don't get trapped in the house, because I need to get out at least one night a week to keep my sanity.
UGH, I can recall delivering a couple thousand Pennysavers during winters in NY and the Pennysaver box would be covered with snow and you couldn't get the car close enough to put the paper in anyway.
I used to deliver the daily paper in waist high snow on many occasions..
