Need somewhere to go New Years Eve?

In years past, I always hit the casinos on New Years.. they usually had a promotion going and plenty of free drinks and noisemakers..

This year, like last year, I expect to stay home and ring in the New Year..

2010, I hope to be different.. I want to plan something special!

The cover charges to see a band on New Year's is getting to be too much. Most bars don't offer much extra that night, they just know that people will pay more. I don't blame them for trying to make more money, but I have to watch my spending, too.

We plan on staying at my daughter's house and cooking and eating snack foods, playing games, just kicking back and having fun.

As of now i have no plans, i stayed home last year & may end up doing the same this year. I kinda hope something comes up & i don't end up home alone all night, however it wouldn't be all that bad.

I never go out New Years. When I was young my parents were almost killed on New Years eve by another car and after that my dad would tell me the story each year. It just stuck with me and so I never go out on that night.

Formed in 2004, the Screamin' Cucumbers (Cukes) are a new and diverse Milwaukee area cover band. The set list consists primarily of great danceable rock tunes, with a bit of an emphasis on the 80's. If it's upbeat, danceable, and fun it's probably on the set list. The five members of the Screamin' Cucumbers have over 60 years of combined band experience. These guys know what it takes to win over a crowd early and keep them happy all night long.
