‘Do Not Call’ List Sign-Up

If you signed up for Wisconsin's No Call List two years ago, it's time to do it again. The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection reports there are one-point-four million phone numbers on the state's list.

Telemarketers are not allowed to call those numbers.

Wisconsin residents have even put 92-thousand cell phone numbers on the list.

You can sign up 24-7, by going online to https://nocall.wisconsin.gov/web/home.asp or calling 866-966-2255.

The deadline to renew is the end of November. You can still list your name after that, but it wouldn't become effective until April.

I'm not sure but I think even if you're on the list but provide your number to a merchant and haven't read the fine print, you leave your self open for more calls.

yup I heard that too. So I try real hard not to leave phone numbers.

I use my SkypeIn number alot.. I can block calls with that.

If they do call uninvited I make there misserable life a living hell...

I put them threw so many steps of telling me all about what they are asking of me, and of course I say I am hard of hearing...

That way I can set them down and still do things, and then ask them I didn't hear them very well...

Then I tell them they have to tell Ma all about it and they start from scratch...

Then its back to me to make the deside, and of course I didn't understand a word they said...
