Hang time here has been horrendous the last few hours.. I'd click on a link to make a new thread and it would take as long as two minutes to load, the page would just freeze. I couldn't close the page or anything, then finally it would release.
At first I thought it was my anti-virus program so I disabled that but it still did it.. anyone else have that happen?
Hm.. I was thinking it was just here because it hasn't happened on any other sites. I had the Amazon Site Stripe activated in another window.. I wonder if that could have been it.
I was up posting last night and next thing I knew several hours passed by with my head down on the computer desk..sleeping. Wow I hate when that happens! lol
Hope everyone is getting dug out from the snow yesterday. We did not get a dump quite as bad as we thought but what made it difficult here is the rain turn to ice before the snow hit. Made it very difficult to drive and or walk on.
For all of us that are addicted to watching Greys Anatomy, I just read that George is asking to be let out of his contract. Below is a link to the story...

I dont think i've ever fallen asleep at a pc, i would find that too uncomfortable & not be able to sleep i'm sure.

It's the voodoo bug from when you had to format......

I'm with you there, I don't find it that comfortable either. It's ok for sitting, but not sleeping. Now put me under a warm blanket in front of the TV and I will fall asleep.
I just finished my little watercolor paintings for my gift tags I'm making. Now all I have to do is scan them and set up my tags to be printed. Then cut them, fold them, add sparkles and add strings. Yeah, still a ways to go yet. Who's idea was all this work anyway? LOL

It sounds like your tags will be elegant...your friends and family must look forward to the tags as much as the gifts. Nice idea.

Haha, they can't look forward to anything they've never gotten. I've never made gift tags before. I think I've only made cards a few times and that was long ago among my high school buddies. Now I don't even send cards out, because I see the family anyway in person. However, this year I got involved in an online card exchange with my designer friends. I wanted to throw in some extra goodies in the cards. Gift tags are small and can be used. There's a whole thread on it in the arts and crafts forum here. I will post pictures when I get that far.
Right now I'm working on laying out the tags to be printed tomorrow at work. I wonder if I can talk them into cutting them on the machine. That sure beats cutting by hand at home.
Today was a busy day for me.. paid my electric, cable, internet, and telephone bills and went to the bank, post office, and grocery shopping... spent $75 with the butcher and will finish my shopping tomorrow at Walmart and Aldi's.
Church group is coming over at 6:30 and I'll be back on after they leave to post here and at WebLoggers.
My neighbor put me in for a Christmas "basket" from her church and told me to expect delivery around 6:30.
They did come by around 7 with a huge plastic bin full of groceries, plus alot of extras like detergents, toilet paper, etc. I bet there was $80 (or more) worth of goods.
Even tho I live on a fixed income, I actually felt bad taking it because I'm doing ok at the moment but I also usually share food with several of my neighbors during the month so it'll come in handy.
I don't even go to their (any) church. But what a wonderful way to share over the Holidays... I'm extremely thankful.
