I slept in a little this morning. I guess I was tired out from freezing tomatoes and cantaloupe yesterday and staying out late the previous two nights.
The only thing I'm doing today is a couple loads of laundry and then I plan to relax in the recliner and watch a movie...and perhaps take a much needed nap with one of the cats on my lap.
Yeah, I'd need to save some money before I move anyway (and preferably get some of my own transportation).. but it's definitely something I've thought of.

We totally get snow here but not like you mentioned in NY area. But a whole lot more than where you live.
In our area there is a good transportation system so you don't need a car if you live in the city and plenty of good bike trails. And we aren't far from the casino in Milwaukee.
I have to do some laundry myself.. have a good one, Cindy!

It's about 62-63 ish outside and so crisp and clear. I really like weather that gives you the option of what to wear, that can include jeans and not have everything stick to you from the heat! How wonderful it would be if only it could stay like this up to about 75 year round.

Shingles is alot like poison ivy in the start isn't it? Could it be an onset of that?
But I do remember many years ago a friend of mine had an aunt that burned firewood she carried in from outside that unknown to her had poison ivy on it. She ended up breathing it into her lungs and dying from it after quite awhile in the hospital. Very sad.
So if you are that susceptible to it from just the air when it's being cut maybe you better stay indoors with your windows closed when they are around mowing.

Yeah, I don't have it bad, just in two spots on my arms where I've had it before..

Wow, coming home tonight it was 61 and windy and even I would have to say was really cool borderline chilly out. The wind gave the chill that made me wish I had my jeans on and a sweatshirt or light weight jacket. Fall was certainly in the air tonight. ..
OK, I know I could not wait for the hot, humid weather to leave, and I love it cool out, but this was really a reminder of the fact that winter comes around here really fast and stays around way to long. I'm sooo not ready for any of that yet.

I have my house cleaned already this morning and I'm going to go check on my garden. Then I will probably mow the lawn. Hopefully I won't have to rake up so much grass this time!
Haved a great Labor Day weekend, everybody.. weather here is great for outdoor activities!
Just got back from trying to go see my doctor.. wasn't thinking of it being a holiday weekend so will have to go back during the week as the office was closed. Need to get a new prescription for my meds and haven't been feeling too well so want to get checked out.
I've been a busy bee today. I froze tomatoes and peppers and delivered 7 cantaloupe to various friends. I also picked up stuff for tacos so I can make them for supper tomorrow night. It will be the first day my hubby's had off in awhile and there are some chores I want him to do around here. But I know I will have to bribe him with his favorite food, tacos, in order to get him to do them.
