Good morning! I have a couple pumpkin pies here--complete with whipped cream--goes great with coffee. Help yourselves; it's the perfect Black Friday breakfast.
My daughter-in-law just called; she's shopping the deals this morning. I can't make myself do it, although the sales are inviting.
How was your holiday? Mine was smaller than usual--only 11 people for dinner--but nice because of it. My 2 sons, wives, and kids were here and we ate a LOT of food. We usually sit down and play a game after dinner, but I was so exhausted I didn't even suggest it. Although they did give the Wii a workout. Very pleasant day.
Well my TMJ would not let me eat yesterday. Sat and watched everyone eat this beautiful meal and could not even sip water. But I managed to get a few bites today. Called my TMJ specialist and found out since my TMJ has been manageable for the last couple years she would not take me in until next Jan sometime. Just because I have not seen her on a regular basis. Wow, didn't expect that. She sure had the appointments when I was spending $700.00 for a mouth brace. Not sure where to go for a quicker appointment since TMJ Dr's are hard to find. I keep wondering about acupuncture and think I'm leaning a lot more in that direction now.
Went to one store this morning, when there was only one hour left picked up 2 things. Got in and out fairly quickly. Learned to always go later and even though many things are picked over there is still a few bargains left. I won't do the crazy get up early etc. thing. Now I really won't after reading the post where an employee was killed just trying to open the doors of the store. How sad that is.

One of my old girlfriends has TMJ. I hear acupuncture is gaining more and more acceptance amongst mainstream doctors.. seems it does work in many instances.
I have a hiatal hernia and have had some wicked heartburn the last couple days. I need to start sleeping with the head of my bed elevated. My aunt had hers operated on and they goofed to the point she couldn't keep any food down.
Made another meatloaf today alongside diced fried potatoes and peppers and niblet corn.. I may live alone but I eat pretty good when I feel like cooking!

Dave, clean the kitchen? WOW. I am surprised my husband knows where the dish soap is. I love him and all, but ........ he is not one for cleaning.
Patti, that had to really be awful yesterday. I feel so bad for you. As Dave was saying, there are more and more dentists out there who will see people for TMJ. I hope you can find some relief soon.
