I just noticed the new poll today. So far 4 votes. 2 for Christmas, 2 for Halloween. I'm a bit surprised that over all the holidays that Christmas and Halloween are tied.
Halloween is a kinda a fun holiday with the kids dressing up etc. but to tie with the Christmas holiday so far? Have to admit I would not have guessed that.

Tried this...tastes really good, but it's a bit too spongy for me. My husband loved it--he ate every bit in one sitting and it makes a big piece of cake.

Can you smell the giblet broth simmering on the stove? I love Thanksgiving. Still haven't decided what I'm saying for when we go around the table and say what we're grateful for. So many things--and we only have one minute per person to get it all out.

That's the one thing (besides stuffing) I'll miss most today.. giblets and giblet gravy! we used to fight at the table over who got the giblets.. I had the knife so I always won!

I'd almost rather eat the giblets than anything else.. of course, I'm Southern born and raised! Where I used to live you could buy fried gizzards or livers (chicken) but no place around here serves them. Maybe Walmart.. have never checked the Deli for them.

ooh my skunks love 'em...but eat 'em raw. All organ meat I feed raw...as if they were in the wild. No fryers out in the woods!
