Can't come soon enough! Although I'm not looking forward to the weekend as I'll be traveling back to Utah for school.
What part of Utah? I'm guessing somewhere in the northern part. If you ever get a chance, go to the southern part with all the national parks. It's one of the most beautiful places in the US. It's a great place for photography. Bryce Canyon was my favorite national park of the 5 parks there. When we went we rented a 4-wheel drive and took some dirt roads and we had a blast. Got that thing bucking and bouncing like like crazy and laughing as we did. We even took a scary ride down the side of a canyon wall with a 1200 foot drop off by Canyonlands. I nearly crapped my pants. At Capitol Reef National Park we took a a dirt road out to a place called Cathedral Valley. That was something we couldn't have seen otherwise with only a car. You don't need a 4-wheel drive to see all the great scenery, but it's an added bonus to get to those places where a car can't reach.
I'm not real fond of George Webb either, been to several & finally decided it wasn't going to get better from one city to another & gave up. So now when my friends want to go to George Webb i know to grab a bite elsewhere before hand.
...Them's got ears, let them hear
Them's got eyes, let them see
Turn your eyes to the lord of the skies
Take this airline plane
It'll take you home again

Exactly. Guess I've been at to many other places to eat that I like better.
Another place I can't stand to eat at is Denny's. The last time we went there I felt ill after we ate. The food was just awful. I've only been a few times over the years and each one has been bad.

Getting a quick theBubbler fix. Between sleep and a long day at work, been away almost 16 hours - ouch! I'll be around a bit later tomorrow and Sunday.
Just figured out that 7 days without theBubbler makes one weak.

wow we have the same taste in food lol
My best friend is a Denny's fanatic & i dislike it soooo much. She hates that i wont go with her, she loves their breakfast, we always end up at ihop when she has the breakfast urge, i call it a compromise she doesnt lol i know its not, but its better than eating at Denny's ack!
Who's having fun today? Not me. I'm busy solving computer problems, which I have been putting off, because I know how much fun they are to solve. 2 down, 1 to go.
Usually the problems are easy to solve, but finding the answer seems to take hours.

What problem are you having, maybe I can help.
By the way I didn't find any good treasures today at the garage sales I did get a TRS-80 Computer 2 with the cassette deck and all. Last time I played around with one of these was back in the early/mid 80's lol. Wow how technology changed in such a short time eh..
Been on theBubbler a few hours, mostly filing a 100+ private messages and setting up another Member with a free blog. Hope to get some more invitations for those WisFolks sites out tonite.
TheBubbler had a huge spike in traffic yesterday and today. I've got to believe that the new, improved free classifieds format has something to do with that. We've put the free classifieds into a format that looks much more similar to the forums here. Like the forums since we optimized them again, the classifieds will be (and already are, apparently) getting picked up better than ever by search engines. This is great news for our Wisconsin classifieds advertisers, and for theBubbler since the classifieds have always been one of our biggest draws to get people to the site and to register.
Thanks, Mike, for staying till about 7 Friday night to finish up the latest improvement on theBubbler before heading back to school in Utah.
I'll post about the traffic in the Water Cooler / Site-Related Forums.
Meantime, even with the bump in traffic I'm missing seeing the long-time regulars posting today. Guess I can't blame folks for taking advantage of a 72-degree, sunny October Saturday!
I spent the day in a 5 hour meeting with a lawyer, ugh! Actually, it wasn't that bad because he's a friend. Hope to see him here soon!
Hope everyone has an extra-fine, beautiful weekend.
Howdy.. quickly making a run thru to say hello! Had a long day.. catching up on cleaning, etc and more to do tomorrow! I want to get my webcam set back up too and catch up on a few movies..
