Morning! Well, I haven't been to bed.. yet.. not really. I tossed and turned because my ankle was sore, got up to take some ibuprofen and have been up ever since.
Yikes, I missed the party! If you guys are going to be up all night, you should let us know so we can all join the fun.
Seriously, I hope you all feel better soon. Carol, have you tried the Vick's VapoRub for the cough? You rub it into the soles of your feet and put cotton socks on--sounds crazy, but my mom tried it and it worked for her. Dave, remember RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevate) for muscle strain/sprain. Ken, go back to bed--4:51 is too early!

Hope you guys start feeling better with Thanksgiving only a few days away. My daughter will be coming home from college. First child away from home (not the youngest) but the first one who actually left home. So it will be awesome to see her for Thanksgiving. Not to mention, the boys (the two 1 yr old puppies) will be so excited to see her as well.

I woke up with my TMJ full blown this morning. Could hardly talk and forget eating. Didn't happen this morning. I'm just praying for 2 things right now, please don't let me get my daughter's flu she had yesterday, throwing up would just totally kill me, and please let me be better so I can eat Thanksgiving Dinner!
I took my pain meds and finally able to drink some tea right now. The only thing is it will get better during the day and then it will get worse again at night. I hate mornings. And yes, I wear my mouth brace at night so that's not the problem. It's just life.
OK, so much for my problems. lol

Sounds sore Dave. Are you sure you didn't break it? I knew someome that thought they just had a sprain and found out they actually had a hairline crack. Had to cast it and use crutches for awhile.

That's horrible. Can't even imaging trying to walk around on a sprained ankle...but then to learn it was broke ~ OUCH!!

Could be a timing thing to though. People are thinking of going out of town or getting ready to cook the big meal, getting ready for guests, or thinking about saving money for gifts for Christmas. But hopefully they will realize that there is some great gift ideas on the auction and not miss out.
I was trying for the gift cert. from the book store up by you since it would make a great gift for a friend of mine that lives up there. Also the gas card for the Wausau area would come in handy when we drive up to visit. Fill up again before we leave. Just a few thoughts for others to think about too.
