Another celebrity bites the dust. This is for you Little House on the Prairie fans. Merlin Olsen who played Mr. (Jonathan) Garvey on that show died of cancer. He was 69. He also did the FTD Florist commercials a while back. Here's something I didn't know about him until just now. He was a football player for the LA Rams for 15 years. Never knew that one.
I also couldn't get on here this morning. So since there was nothing on tv, the cat and I dozed in the recliner for awhile. I woke up with a terrible headache...probably from the chiropractor popping my neck the wrong way last night. It hurt right after he did it and hasn't felt right since. I ate some dark chocolate and then I felt a bit better.
We are waiting for my son to get home from visiting a friend and then we are going to watch the movie "Old Dogs". I bought it last week but was waiting to watch it while he was home for spring break.
My glasses were broken and wasn't feeling well so went to be early last night, then woke up with chills and vomiting, same symptoms one of Misty's clients went to the Emergency with a few days ago so looks like it got passed on to me.. I'm still feeling really sick today.
I hope you feel better soon Dave and I hope you don't end up having to go to the emergency room!
Was sorry to hear about Corey Haim and Merlin Olsen both.. My mom would have remembered him from Little House on the Prarie. I recall him more as a football player (have owned his football cards). As for Corey Haim, one of my favorite movies is Lucas, which stars him and a very young Wynona Ryder.

I just woke up about 20 mins ago when Misty called. Been trying to sleep all day and the thought of eating makes me sick. My stomach is still really upset.
One of the neighbor kids knocked on the dorr at 8:30 this morning to see if she could use the computer :ugh: She left to go stay at her grandmother's. I guess they're all off from school this coming week.

Funny about the love handles.. I was alarmed when the doctor told me I weighed 267 the other day but he says that's only a 4 pound difference since my last visit so it's "good news" my weight is "stable".. so he says.. I want to lose 50 pounds and am considering using Alli to do it..
Woooo! I made my exercise goal for the 4th week in a row. I'm nice and sweaty right now. Anyone want to smell? One thing I noticed is that I can last longer on my stationary bike without getting winded so fast. We did get a couple of walks in this week and even with all the different exercises I'm doing, the front of my lower legs still were a bit sore. Not for long, so maybe I'm in better shape than most springs.
I don't like exercising indoors, but it sure feels good after you do it. I'm still trying to get my hubby to join me. He always says he will, but he makes too many excuses. I told him the love handles aren't going to come off on their own.
Don't you hate that? When you've packed things you need?

The kitchen stuff i did on purpose & planned to just eat take out until i get this over with.. Never in a million years would i have thought I'd miss cooking... well, no i still don't miss cooking, but i do miss home cooked meals.
I did take a bunch of boxes to IL & then realized i would still need this or that... like toilet paper & napkins... I underestimated what i should keep here lol went out & bought more.
Got my entire place packed up, bed taken apart & in the garage, ready for the truck in the morning... finishing up my laundry (blankets & such) & all will be complete for the truck at 10am tomorrow. whew, this move has been tough! Now that the house is empty, I feel relief & just cant wait to get it all put away, bed set up & what not... i start my new job in IL on Monday morning, can't wait!
What snow? We haven't had any here for several days now.
I am going to have my son help me get the patio furniture out of the storage shed while he's home on spring break this week. I was out on the patio earlier sitting on the steps for awhile. I LOVE Spring!

We just got up. It was so nice to sleep in. We would've slept longer but the cats decided to chase each other across the bed and us!
I guess the guys want me to fix "brunch" here pretty soon. The menu includes pancakes, fried tators, scrambled eggs and bacon with a side of toast. You are welcome to join us if you like since Toes isn't up yet...or she's busy. After breakfast, I'm putting everyone to work rearranging my living room! That should wear off some of that food!

I said the same thing yesterday. That happened the day Farrah died. I said something on Twitter about who was next. Then just a few hours later it was MJ.

My husband was telling me his waist size one day. I had him get out a tape measure and then when the number was higher he said how can that be, I still wear the same size pants. I told him anyone can suck in their gut to put on pants. He also tells me that he doesn't weigh that much differently, but I had to remind him that muscle and fat weigh different. Muscle weighs more so a piece of muscle would be smaller compared to a piece of fat of the same weight.
