I'm not sharing any of my cupcakes. I ended up with 25. I'm not sure of the exact number of coworkers I have, but I made sure my husband and I got one each out of that, leaving 23 for them. There might be 24 people there. I have no idea, but I just leave them in the kitchen and they help themselves. I suppose the diabetic woman I work with won't eat one so I may have enough. lol
I'm going to try to set mine again and see if it stays. I am so tired of the depressing black and dark colors.
Just changed to winter snow and it's so nice to see something bright and pretty. Hopefully it will stay and not change back when I log off.
Still miss the changes we use to see on here for holidays etc. though...I think Kris10 use to change it? Haven't seen her on here for awhile.
Haven't seen Keith for quite awhile either. Where is everyone?
I have mine set to the bubbler default (use to be sunset) & it has never changed on me except when the site was having issues a long while back.
Why do you log out? I have never logged out before, maybe that's why mine doesn't change on me. Plus, I am already signed in each time i visit the site, on both my work & home computers & that works well for my lazy butt lol
Well it's back to the dark heading again, it is from logging out. Maybe it will change when it's closer to Spring.
Why do I log out? Because my kids use this computer also so I have a habit of logging out of everything when I'm done. FB, emails, bubbler, banking, etc. Guess I never thought, not to log out. ...

By the way,
Good Morning Everyone.
Do you have a seperate 'log in' to the pc, from what your kids sign into? I always kept my stuff signed in & would "switch user" on the pc whenever someone wanted to sign into either their 'log on' or the guest 'log on'. When you have a seperate log in for everyone, no one can see the others settings, history, favorites etc... Thank god the computer at home saves my passwords, i don't think i'd know most of my passwords if i needed them lol
wow... long tiring weekend. So started Zumba. Has anyone ever done it? FUN! apart from that typical weekend home chores a little sick toddler and cooking for the week. Sorry.... I did not have time to prepare breakfast for ya'll this morning. Maybe tomorrow!
Cindy I just noticed you are one post away from 2,000!
Way to go!
Thanks! I guess this post will put me there then.
There aren't many people on here this morning...I only see 58. Everyone must be hung over from the weekend or maybe they just have a case of the Monday blahs!
Cindy's turn to make a cake or other dessert. We take pies or cookies too.
I guess I could share the apple pie my neighbor sent over. You wouldn't get much of it though by the time I sliced it up small enough to serve all the people on here.
Just taking a short break. I've been running all day but actually feel like I am getting things done so that's always a good feeling. For some reason we decided to have a turkey dinner tonight at my daughter's house so cooking the turkey right now and it's so beginning to smell like Thanksgiving again.

If you only share with the active ones, we'd each get two slices
Have had such a craving for orange juice lately.. have consumed 3 half gallons this week all by myself.
Went to look at an apartment a few days ago.. this one is located just off our Central Square in a newly remodeled hotel. Pros are that it's very large in a secure building restricted to ages 55 and over. Each apartment has a full complement of modern appliances, including an apartment size washer and dryer. Security deposit is only $99 and pets are allowed with an additional deposit. Cons: not the end of town I'd prefer, but not bad. The other end of town is just more convenient. Plus the rent is higher than I'd like.. giving it some thought tho.
Waaah! My coworkers hardly touched my cupcakes I made. Someone brought in donuts before I did, but there was still a lot of donuts left when I got there. By lunch time the donuts were gone and only 9 of my cupcakes were eaten. What is with people? I'd choose a homemade dessert over donuts any day. You can get donuts anytime, which they do.
I had one guy come up to me and ask what red velvet was supposed to taste like. He was all paranoid that it was going to be awful just because they were red. I don't know how to describe them. Sweet and tasting like a cake... lol I dunno. I thought just taste it and find out. If you don't like it, throw it out. At least 2 people that tried them said the frosting was really good.
Anyway I don't know if I should be insulted that more than half of them didn't try my cupcakes. They told me they like any treats people bring in.
I ended up taking home 6 cupcakes for myself and then leaving them the rest. If they're not going to eat them, I'm taking them. That frosting is so good.

See...you should have given them to us. We wouldn't have offended you...we definitely would have eaten them!

That bites! I don't know if i'd be insulted or not, but I would think twice before sharing next time. Maybe pick up donuts to be safe
