Sorry Dave. It's always so difficult after putting so much into a relationship for it to come apart. But you never know there are bumps in the road in all relationships maybe the two of you will still work it out if not then it's better to know now than years down the road.

I expected to see a ton of snow this morning but we only have about 2 inches so far and it's barely snowing now. I doubt we will get the 9 inches they were predicting for our area. Even the local schools are running on time as usual.
I also highly doubt we will see the predicted amounts here... Not that i am complaining.

No, lol I didn't even remember to try to catch the half time during the Super Bowl. Went over to my daughter's house for dinner and we ate, and sat around the table talking, cleaned up, ate dessert, talked some more and realized it was getting late. Got home and then realized I never caught the half time show. LOL

I started to watch the halftime show, because i was on the phone with someone who said it was starting, but that was short lived... I don't recall WHO sucking that bad, but they are pretty old now, so maybe that's why. I've heard mixed feelings about it, some say they rocked it (the older crowd at work), but most hated it or couldn't stand to finish watching it... you can catch it online, not sure why anyone would want to lol
I so hope we don't get what they are predicting here. (up to 14"). That would be great if the storm just got weak and miss us.
From your lips to gods ears... I just heard that the Madison airport is closing down due to weather... I haven't looked outside since arriving at work (530am), but i can imagine it's not good.

Undercover Boss. I did like it if indeed candy. Problem is with those shows you never know how much is staged. The concept is certainly a great one and a good lesson for CEOs
We've already had more snow here in the last few weeks than I've seen here in the last 5 years combined.. normally we don't have much snow at all, if any during our winters. We're more likely to get rain and sleet with the occasional ice storm.

Some of my friends had been talking about theirs changing but mine hadn't changed until today. I'm not that thrilled with it either but I only go there maybe once a day to check messages so I'm not going to let it bother me too much.
Go luck checking messages now since if you click between top news and recent items (w/e it's called) and to see what I mean, do it half a dozen times back and forth. You'll get different results each time. Sometimes I will say no posts to display. What if you need to go back and find something like I do on my designer friends page? They often post links or other useful bits that I sometimes go back to later in the day or next day.
I totally disliked Facebook before and I dislike it now even more with the 'new' look. I only stay on there because I have relatives and friends that I keep in contact with on there. I always tell everyone though that I like thebubbler better and if they want to chat they can meet me here. The chat room there really sucks. But yet, everyone wants to stay on there even though they all complain too. Go figure.
I like Facebook way better than myspace and 100 times better than Twitter. Twitter isn't that fun to read. I've been getting away from it now that I'm working again and don't have as much time to spare. Myspace you feel like you're alone on your page. At least on FB people are more likely to read and comment on your stuff. They are more likely to put in a friend request than on myspace. I think myspace has pretty much died.
What was it that you disliked about FB? I guess I don't understand since I liked it better than myspace right away. Maybe you need more interesting friends there? lol

Facebook is more of a mess than it was before. I noticed that I get no posts to display all the time too. You have to click again and yes, you get different results all the time. Just now when I checked I finally got a message from my friend in Florida saying "good morning" to me and it just came through now after I had checked several times today.
Did anyone have my problem in trying to figure out how to log out the first time? LOL I swear I looked for several minutes before I realized you had to go to the drop down box to find it. What the heck is that? The log out should be in plain sight.
Like I will always say, I don't like Facebook.

LOL no, actually my friends and family is what keeps me there, I have a great group on there. It's not the concept as much as I don't like the way it is set up.

I watched in on youtube yesterday after so many comments from people on facebook. Most of the musicians were not saying good things and the non-musicians were saying it was good or bad, depending on opinion. The lights were awesome, the music ok and the singing was terrible, especially Pete. I was never much of a Who fan to begin with. I can take them or leave them.
I think they need to have AC/DC to the halftime. They would get a place rowdy for sure. Maybe it would be my first time watching a halftime show if that happened.

I know exactly how you feel. I have been outside most of the day with our long driveway. I shovel until my hair is dripping wet and my glasses are so full of water from the snow that I have to go in and rest until I am dried off. And by then the snow has covered everything again and we start all over again. (my daughter has helped too). My neighbor came over once this afternoon and used his snow blower which was great. The only thing is I know when we get up in the morning it will look like we never touched any of it.

I'm hoping its a glitch that they clear up, not the new norm. I noticed less people posting since that happened or is it that I can't see all the posts. I did figure out how to logout mostly because people said they couldn't see it and I knew it had to be buried somewhere on top.
Those of you that only have to shovel, just be glad you didn't have to drive over an hour in it to get home today. I almost got stuck in the parking lot at work. It sucked. Then trying to keep my windshield clean on the way home.

Yes it was the singing that sucked... One of the guys at work said it was pre-recorded earlier in the day, did they not hear it before lip syncing it? not good at all!
AC/DC would be cool, bet that would be a killer show.
I deleted my Facebook account yesterday.. may give it another go but found I rarely went to Facebook, would generally only update using a toolbar or bookmarklet anyway.

Woo wee, my lips are zinging tonight and it isn't because my husband kissed me. We used habanero jack cheese in the enchiladas. I told hubby to shred half cheddar and half habanero, but no he gave me a tiny bit of cheddar and the rest habanero. Tasted good though. I bet I could make it with chicken instead of shrimp and it would be good too. Cheaper, too.
Made up the weird malanga root veggie. It tastes and feels like potatoes. Not quite the same color, but close in flavor.

I WISH it were Spring already!
We lucked out here and only got between 4 or 5 inches of snow today. Not quite sure since it was blowing around some. Hubby shoveled the deck and driveway this afternoon but there's a bit more on the deck again that will have to be done in the morning since he's already in bed. I may go out and do it tonight yet if I get the notion.

I just read that we are in for a bunch more snow tonight since we live right near Lake Michigan. I am sitting here wishing I could go to bed but I am just to tired to get up and just go....I was up a short time ago and made the mistake of peeking out the window. All the work we did today on the car/van and driveway doesn't even look like it anymore. I really am tired of SNOW.
