Hey, all.. will be working on blog posts for at least the next few days for Keith so will only be stopping by briefly to check for spam, etc until done..
Misty and her "ex" are going to do their taxes at 3 today .. Misty and I are hoping to get $3500 out of that and pay off the van, do as few other things..
My old job asked me back and I've been thinking about it.. not sure what I'll do yet.. right now, it would be a good thing to have some insurance, for one.. my health isn't the best. Would also be nice to make at least as much as Misty but right now, I make about a third of what she does. Something to think about anyway.. asst. managers start at $23k a year which is about what the two of us make combined.

Oh, sounds great for you Dave. And insurance to get things taken care of I'm sure would be a great relief. With the growing family it seems you have now, every thing helps.

Yes, they told the father they didn't feel comfortable having their son sitting in the parking lot and if he didn't want to come into the church then he should quit coming there.
Maybe I will be the only one that sees this but wouldn't you think if the boy came as far as the parking lot that maybe somewhere inside of him he had a need to go a bit further but didn't know how to walk through the doors? Maybe instead of everyone turning their backs and wanting him to leave, someone should have tried to befriend him and offer to walk him inside. It could make a big difference in the boy's life. Sounds like he has alot of issues to work out and this could have been the step for him.
Oh well.

I dont like the PR accent, this is why... Their spanish dialect is way way different than ours (Mexican), i cant stand it because it's like if you cut off the end of a mexican word, you get a PR word & that drives me batty p
Kind of sounds like the difference between Australian and New Zealand. Aussie's tend to drop off the end of their words, while New Zealanders say the whole words.
Funny how that happens with cyber-food, huh?
To answer Cindy's earlier question: we had clear skies, tons of sunshine and 60's today! FINALLY!!! Felt like Florida in January again!
Sat on the porch with Sig-other for a long time in the sunshine brushing the winter coat of one of the dogs who sheds like a beast! Now all of my rose bushes look furry from the fur flying in the wind and landing on them!
Sig leaves early in the AM after being home for 6 weeks. whah. Longest stretch of time home in about 12 years! (back to work, and he has to work Super Bowl too) Wish I could go with him.
How about some grilled Shrimp & Appalachacola Oysters for dinner?
(may taste like pizza or meatloaf though.......)

Mine will taste like bbq pulled pork and some cheesy veggie casserole thing my husband is making.
I did have grilled shrimp over the weekend along with fish and some crab legs. Certainly not as good as fresh from Florida. I remember that area when we were down there, only I called it Appal-cola because that word is a mouthful.
bbq pork and veggie casserole sounds delish! We just ended up goofing off, playing a few rounds of pool and ordered Dominos instead....watching the "Pizza Tracker" now, I love that thing! "Shakyra" is prepping our pizza as we speak......

The veggie casserole was good and cheesy. It was carrots, corn and red potatoes. The original recipe called for broccoli which I don't really eat much. I suppose you could substitute just about anything.
For dessert I cut up an apple, topped with Cool Whip, then added salted peanuts and some butterscotch ice cream topping. What was really tasty. Sweet and salty. I'm calling in my caramel apple delight.

Health Insurance is key! You have needed it for a while... Good Luck!
Stopped at O & H Bakery yesterday so we all have some wonderful muffins for breakfast this morning with yogurt, OJ/ Milk.
Thanks Patti, but I skipped breakfast today. I took my DIL out to lunch at 11:30 at Subway instead. After I took her home, I just wandered around several stores and just now got home. I think I am definitely in need of a good foot massage now!
I think we are all going to wish we went on vacations in Florida the next few days...heard it is suppose to be really cold again.
I guess I will be hibernating the rest of this week then! I hate going out when it's terribly cold! It's times like that when I'm so glad my office is in my house.

Temp wise it stayed around 28 degrees all day but for some reason it was a very, very cold 28 degrees. Not windy just a coldness that went right into you. burrrr...glad I'm home for the night finally.
American Idol is on tonight too!

The weather man said the wind chill for the next couple of days is going to be 20 to 25 below! Not only will I not be going out of the house, but I'm betting the guys won't be working either. The machines just don't work well in the cold and neither do the guys.
I'm keeping track of you ladies this week. LOL I'll let you know what I'm up to later in the week. It'll be funny.
I guess I'm not joining my exercise machines tonight either since my back is still a little sore. I'm still going to try the bike downstairs, because that doesn't require upper body movement too much. waaahhh!
Have you ever looked at how many visitors have looked at your profile page? I noticed I've had 7,300 visitors. That's a lot of people sneaking a peak at me. Didn't think that many people looked at profiles here.

Most likely how many times I bring up the weather, Cindy talks about her son, shopping or cleaning something, and Toes makes us breakfast and Dave is either sick or goes to the bank. lol oops..sorry Dave, she said ladies, lol guess you are out of this one.
Oh and Carol writes about her Mountain Dew!

My page has had 9,571 visits.
Yup, I look at mine all the time otherwise I'm afraid I will miss if someone writes on my messages. I also check the temp and right now it's 12 degrees. Oh I just said something about the weather didn't I? LOL

All I know is that it's cold. We got spoiled for a bit, didn't we?
I can go to my profile and see a message someone left weeks ago. I wish it would give us a notice. At least at the top like where it says how many private messages there are, so a number is showing.
