Good afternoon, everyone. I'm sitting here at work...it's just me and the neighbor's cat, Dawson. He says hi, too. Do cats like music? He loves it here--I wonder if it's the music.
Most animals like music.. some are just particular and only like Country.

Unfortunately, I did not get to sleep in.....but I did have to blast out of bed FAST as I had alot of animals this AM to go check on! Mine 1st at 5am (dark out and COLD!), and came home at 10am, back out at 11am, home now for 1 more hour, back out......blah blah blah.

BUT! I am slow-roasting a prime rib right now, they were on sale at Publix for $5.99 a pound!!! I went grocery shopping for my bird and fixins to beat the rush......and there they layed.....yummy rib roasts! So....how about if I cook dinner instead?
OK, ya'll already know I am a cold weather weinie......but the news said today that we are 15-20 degrees colder than normal right now, so I officially have an excuse. Nanner nanner. My lawn was white this am, it crunched. That's just not right.
I looked like a purple-wrapped bank robber this am when I was out walking dogs, quite the stunner.
OK, time to fly......I'll come back later and get dinner on the table.

I had a potbellied pig who LOVED to listen to watch Barney the Dinosaurs.
My cockatoo loved country where the macaw enjoys rock. The greys seem to like Native American drum and flute music.

I wonder it there is a "Happy Songs For Your Cat" CD. Although Dawson seems perfectly content with ballroom dance music; he seems to prefer Foxtrot and Waltz over Salsa and Cha Cha. He's a pretty mellow dude.

The pig watching Barney would be enough to amuse me for hours lol just watching the pig watch tv! I go to the zoo & i'm facinated by the monkeys & bears (any animal like that) they are way cool!
Where i work we have mini pigs, monkeys (very tiny newborns even) & lots of other animals of course (i dont work with them but they are in the same building). The mini pigs & baby monkeys are awesome. Sometimes when i am bored i go upstairs & amuse myself watching the monkeys groom eachother and they LOVE Dora the explorer, they throw eachothers food around & make the other chase it & some are even couples & soooo sweet to eachother... why cant i find a man who is as considerate as a monkey?? lol

Actually it's a 'fight off the urge to nap' day... i will be up most the night if i nap after work, though i tend to do it anyway at times, i try & fight it if i can.
Yeah, I have three toolbars installed (Google, RoboForm, and TheBubbler).. just really handy if one is TheBubbler..
If every member downloaded the toolbar, I think we'd have had a bigger turnout for the Login party (if we'd had it then).. we could have sent one message to ALL our members at once.

Wow Dave, I can smell it all the way over here! Making me hungry! I personally love a pizza meatloaf with pizza sauce and cheese on top. So good.
