Tomorrow is going to be a boring day since my husband found out he has to work. They normally don't work wed. Friday I'll be stuck home alone since they are making them work that day too even though there's not much work to do. It's just so the big wigs can get their numbers by the end of the year. Just corporate BS is all it is. I was planning on spending at least one of those days with my husband. Thanks Greedy's...I mean Edy's.
I made cheese pizza last night.. didn't have a pizza pan big enough and when I tried moving it from the oven to the pizza box (was sending it back to the hospital), I managed to drop the hot pizza across both my arms. Nothing like hot gooey pizza cheese sticking to your arms..

Ouch! That must have hurt a bit!
We went out for supper tonight and I had a cheese burger and fries. My hubby had a huge pancake that filled the plate, two eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast. That was a lot of food...and then he wondered why he couldn't finish it all!
I guess I'd better hit the hay here. I have lots of baking to do today and my chamomile tea is starting to kick in. Sweet dreams to all of you night owls!
Hey Dave how's the little one doing? Will he be coming back home today?
Well, I do see toes tip toeing around but I have to check out soon so guess I will grab my OJ and check back later to see if a bit of breakfast is around. If not, that's OK, I'll leave a box of cereal out for everyone and some milk. lol
Oh I know that makes everyone appreciate toes' efforts when she feeds us.
lol
Have a great day everyone in bubbler land.

!
You should have seen the size of the pancake I got at this place in New York. It was the size of a pizza. I only ordered one and didn't even eat half of it. I was tempted to see if Uncle Buck worked in the kitchen.
I think the price of the pancake was only $2, maybe $3 at the most. Cheap breakfast.
Good morning all! Is it raining in your neck of the woods? It is here which means my hubby will be back pretty soon. I just finished my house cleaning (finally) and I'm taking a short break before making pies.
My son called earlier to let me know they will be heading home around 3:00. I'm so glad now that he is bringing someone home with him so he doesn't fall asleep driving. He said he stayed up all night to finish his English paper that was due today. Since they will be here earlier than I thought, I'm going to make tacos for supper. I think they will enjoy that.
I had to laugh at something my mom told me earlier when she called. She heard on her police scanner yesterday that someone called in complaining about a couple of young boys drag racing on the highway between Boscobel and Fennimore...they were Amish and were racing their buggies side by side down the road! I can almost picture it. LOL I'll bet they got a stern talking to by their fathers when they got home...especially if the cops accompanied them there!

Is there really a law against drag racing buggies?
Bet that was good for a laugh lol
Just bored at work & popping in to say hey. Getting ready for the 4 day weekend... more than ready!

The person who called it in wasn't too happy because he couldn't get around them to pass I guess. Still...it would have been funny to see the looks on the boys faces as they tried to see who had the faster horse and buggy!
Good to see you checking in. You'll be disappointed that we don't have any wild stories about where you've been.
lol not disappointed, i emailed a few people, so they knew why i had to be away. Now i'm back at work on the slowest day of the year (next to x-mas eve) & since the boss left early to shop for tomorrow, so i'm killing time.
Hey there Latina! Glad to see you dropped in! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving and you get to have some fun on your four days off!
The plan is to stay home Thanksgiving.
It's my first Thanksgiving with no kids & they wont be home for any of the Holidays. However i am on call, so with any luck i'll get called in for some major overtime!
The guy that i'm dating says that, if i'm not willing to go to his co-workers with him, he'd like to stay home with me, i'd personally like to pass on the company & the co-workers are out of the question, so we shall see.
It sure is quiet here tonight. I'm guessing everyone must be busy getting ready for the big dinner tomorrow?
All three of the guys went to bed about an hour ago so it's quiet here too. I don't see how college kids can function on little or no sleep like that! I know I sure couldn't do it! The last time I tried that, I passed out from exhaustion and got a rug burn on my nose when I hit the floor!
I think I'm going to watch a little tv and then I'm going to bed too. Hopefully the cats won't keep waking me up this time! I heard the weather person say we could have 1 to 3 inches of snow tomorrow. If you have to drive somewhere for Thanksgiving, please drive carefully and have a safe trip.
