I complimented my friend at lunch today for his self-awareness. That's a whole 'nother story. The one I'll share here is this: He said he believes that most who are self-aware believe themselves to be human beings wanting spiritual experiences. He believes we are spiritual beings having a human experience.
Reading your signature, Keith.. made me think of something once said to me for some reason: One need never be ashamed of being fearful for fear is just another form of self-awareness. Without fear, we'd have no drive to survive.
Looks like a great sunny (but chilly) day out today. Read little rain is coming but not until later. Maybe I can still get a load of clothes out to dry. I think it won't be much longer before that will be over for the season too though.
Well, have to scrounge around for breakfast. I have some extra OJ for those that can't wake up like me without some.

BTW, hope everyone will add good values to the new forum - Wisconsin Deals & Steals & FREE STUFF - I think it will help generate a lot of visits to theBubbler:
Now if we can engage new Members and have them add some threads to the conversations, it'll be like honey to the hive...something to get us through the winter.

A quick good morning to everyone...running out the door in a matter of minutes. Got up late today. Think it was the chat's fault last night. lol You get in there and can't get out when you are having a good conversation. Yup, the chat room's fault. Now I'm tired. lol
Oh yuck, looks dark out.

Good Morning! Congrats to the PACK for keeping us in the "Wildcard Race".....whew!
The game was on TV here, that doesn't happen often, so I enjoyed every second. Saints still 9-0.....that's our "go-to" team here in NW Florida since NOLA is so close. I love it that they're winning.
It's breakfast in a bag this AM. Egg/Cheese/Ham or Sausage patty biscuits to go! I through a banana and some OJ and Coffee in there too. Grab one and get to work ya'll!
Latina, see you soon! Have a good week. Same with everyone else in case I don't make it back for a few days, my "busy season" starts now......
I want to freeze-frame the beautiful weather we're having here for the entire Winter. Sunny and 70's again! Can it last?

Going to jump back into my Dreamweaver homework for the class where the teacher either confuses us or doesn't show us anything at all. Last week I asked a question and he told me he wasn't going to hold my hand. Then why tell students that if they have questions to just ask? Not very happy with this class since about all we do are lessons from a tutorial type book. If that's all we are doing than why am I paying someone to teach me? Wish I could get my money back on this class. At least my Flash teacher is the opposite. He shows us lots of stuff and is always helpful. Maybe I'll ask him my Dreamweaver question tonight and I'll bet he'll show me even though it's not what he's teaching.
Anyway, had a decent weekend even though I still can't stop coughing. Saturday we went to a birthday party in Milwaukee at one of the Mexican restuarants for 2 of my Twitter people. I got to meet some more new people in person, but it was hard since I was trying not to cough all over everyone. I sure don't like to share germs.
I found out 2 interesting things about a couple of my Twitter friends. One woman used to sing opera in California, but I forget with who. San Fran or Los Angeles orchestra maybe. Whatever it was, she did quite well with it until she ruined her voice and can't hit those notes anymore. Another woman was dancing at the bar/restuarant in latin style and showing off some fancy footwork with an equally talented dance partner. I found out her dad taught ballroom dancing for over 50 years. It was fun to watch them do their steps. You just never know about people's interesting background.
I found the bathroom a bit uncomfortable at the restaurant. There was a glass wall that you could see right into the men's room until they closed the door on their side and the glass turned frosted. It was bizarre seeing their toilet on the other side and I wondered if they could see me. Someone said that they can see the opposite bathroom until you close the door which turns the glass frosted. I don't like their strange joke. I used the other bathroom in the other part of the restaurant.
Yesterday we used our gift card for the Ale House. I loved their gumbo and the tenderloin stroganoff.
Morning, all! Another cold, overcast, rainy day here .. be back later!
Coming home from picking up my grandson from school it was just after 4:00 and already we were commenting on how dark it was starting to get out. Right now I look out and it's almost night looking.
I like Daylight Savings time.

Just had to add that with the chill in the air in here (have to turn the furnace up a bit), and looking out at the dark sky, one can certainly feel the 'snow' coming soon.... oh, oh... I said the 'S' WORD!!!
sorry.

I saw it and couldn't resist......my "heritage" (the Dairy State) and my "home".
2 of my favorite mammels......excluding dogs of course. (and cats, ferrets, horses, birds, turtles, mice, gerbils, fish, rabbits........you get the picture)
I SO wanted to go kayaking when I got home from work today! The water was flat as glass, unusually so......but I figured by the time I walk MY dogs, haul the kayak across the street, get in and paddle, the sun would have been going down.
Need more time. Once I'm out there, I don't want to come back.........
